What’s covered under vacation cancellation?
Your policy covers vacation cancellation if you have to cancel or cut short a vacation during the policy period because your pet requires immediate life-saving treatment while you're away or up to seven (7) days before you leave, we’ll reimburse you up to $1,000 per year for any non-refundable travel or accommodation costs.
What isn’t covered under vacation cancellation?
We will not reimburse you for:
Any cost of vacation or travel insurance
Any costs related to a vacation booked less than twenty-eight (28) days before the trip
Any injury or illness that first occurs or shows clinical signs more than seven (7) days before you leave
Any costs related to a vacation that was canceled due to an injury or illness that isn’t covered by your policy
How do I submit a claim for vacation cancellation?
Here’s what you need to do:
